With over 35 years experience in the Middle east, he was the recipient of the Human Resources Leadership Award given by the World HRD  Congress in 2009.

He started his career in a bank then known as The National Bank of Dubai as a supervisor for 2 years before leaving for the U.S. In 1991 rejoined NBD which later became Emirates NBD. Here he worked his way up to become Senior Divisional Head of National Developemnt. In 2010 he joined 'du' as Director National Development until December 2011 when he took up the position of VP Emiratisation (National Development) at First Gulf Bank.

 During this period he has also been Keynote speaker at variours IIR, Marcus Evans, Jabob Feming and IQPC semianrs in UAE and Qatar. He has also delivered various programs (working with Zanerva Malaysa) in Saudi Arabia and Qatar, a development program which was very successful and entitled "How to improve your National Develpment Program".

Currently work as a Coach for 80 UAE Nationals at Emirates NBD, National Bank of Fujairah and Emirates Islamic.
